Yamaha UK and ATV World Re-Sign for 2007 Season

Yamaha UK (YMUK) and ATV World have signed to continue their long and successful motorsport partnership for the 2007 Season.  ATV World will be the only team officially supported by Yamaha UK for the coming season and as such will have exclusive support in both product and technical development.

This partnership is designed to give both ATV World and Yamaha the very best brand exposure, and at the same time demonstrate the awesome performance and reliability of the Yamaha Racing Quads.  Andy Pumfrey (Power Products Manager) of Yamaha UK commented: "We are delighted to continue our strong relationship with ATV World and as our sole team for 2007 we will work closely with them on the technical development of the machines to ensure the success achieved in 2006 continues in the coming season.  It's an exciting time for both Yamaha UK and ATV World."

The team will be fronted by current British number one rider, John Mitchell who will be supported by team manager Martin Fletcher and the ATV World pit crew, headed up by Ian Malpas.
 
The Yamaha YFZ450 proved to be an outstanding competitive machine in 2006 and dominated throughout the season. With the new 2007 model ready for action, John and the team are confident that the ATV World – Yamaha team will be on top form for all major competitive UK and European events in the year ahead.
